Watarase Keikoku Railway

A local railway offering a magnificent view along the gorge.

A popular local railway known by its nickname "Watetsu", that is loved by both locals and tourists. Originally built as the Ashio Line, it became a passenger line connecting Kiryu Station and Mato Station in Nikko City of Tochigi. It leisurely runs 44.1 kilometers in around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
