A museum where you can learn about the Iwajuku era.
A unique museum, which showcases many documents from across the country, relating to the Paleolithic era, also known as the "Iwajuku era". There are also displays of stone tools that were excavated from the Iwajuku site, animal fossils from the Iwajuku era and a reproduction showing what it looked like during the excavation. The life-size skeletal replica of a mammoth is truly spectacular. It is the model for the mascot character of Midori City, "Midomosu".
