Mt. Shikada Footpath

A popular destination where you can enjoy a hike in the woodland.

Mt. Shikada is a gentle hilly terrain located near the Iwajuku Site. The 3-kilometer long wood chip footpath is perfect for a hike in the woodland.
Around Shimizu-shinnuma pond, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Akagi, along with the seasonal flowers grown by the NPO Mt. Shikada Environmental Preservation Network, including the canola flowers in spring, peonies in summer and golden cosmos and buckwheat flowers in autumn.
